How to Apply for a kart License and Club Membership In Western Australia
Prior to obtaining a kart license you must sign up an account in the karting portal known as KOMP Please find the link below Once you have filled in the details and submitted all your information it will bring you to your new dash board to obtain a kart license you must first become a member of a kart club

Differnt types of licenses available through Applications on your Komp Account
Annual Driver's Competition Licence
In order to participate in a Karting Australia Competition, a Driver must be the holder of a current Driver's Competition Licence issued by Karting Australia.
If a Driver is under the age of 18, their parent or legal guardian must also be the holder of a Participant's Licence or a Karting Australia Driver's Licence
Annual Driver's Recreational Licence
Issued for Social and Recreational karting.
To be eligible to drive a Kart on a Karting Australia Track a person must at all times hold a current Recreational or Racing Licence issued by Karting Australia
8 Day Driver's Competition Licence
Issued for a Maximum period of eight (8) days. May only be used to participate in one (1) Club Competition.
Club Membership is not required for this type of Driver's Licence

Officials Licence
All Karting Australia Officials are required to obtain a Working With Children Approval as required by State Legislation prior to applying. To complete the process of becoming an accredited Karting Australia Official, a person must complete the appropriate online courses that are available by registering with officialsacademy@karting.net.au
Participant Licence
For the parents and/or legal guardians of Drivers under the age of 18 years who do not hold a current Karting Australia Driver's Licence
Media Accreditation
Media Accreditation provides the holder with access rights and privileges (as determined by the Organiser of an Event) to make recordings at an Event which are not normally available to spectators at that Event. It does not guarantee entry to an Event which is at the discretion of the Event Organisers.
Applicants are required to be 18 years or older.
Persons aged 16-18 years may apply for a Junior Photographer Accreditation via emailing admin@karting.net.au
Social Karting Activities
Social (non-competition) karting activities must be controlled by a person who holds a Karting Activity Controller’s Licence (Level 5) or a Senior Race Official’s Licence of any Level (4, 3, 2, or 1) issued by Karting Australia. This application is to complete the process of activating the permit for a Social Karting Activity.
Pit Crew Licence
For persons including mechanics, pit crew, parents and guardians who seek require access to the Circuit, the in grid, the out grid, scrutineering and Parc Fermé areas.
These licences are only required for National Championship and National Series.
